IN Andover-based Pannell Engineering has followed the recent launch of its artic tipping trailer range (Commercial Motor, January 10), with the introduction of a new alloy version of its Weyrite fixedside rigid tipper body.
The lightweight alloy Weyrite is available in most popular body lengths used on six and eight wheelers. To keep tare weight to a minimum it has no conventional subframe: instead rigidity is ensure by veepressings between the floor and side panels.
Standard fittings on the alloy body include a top, or bottom, hinged double-acting rear tailgate, mudwings, rope hooks, side-steps and a shovel rack. Operators have the choice of either a Telehoist or an Edbro
rain. Pannell quotes a body weight of 1,520kg for a 115m3 eight-wheeler alloy Weyrite with Telehoist gear. Prices start at around £1,600.
