Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DAS POLICY • The Motor Legal Protection Policy offered by DAS, which insures anyone operating business vehicles against legal costs, has been improved to offer a number of additional benefits.

The most important addition is a provision to reimburse companies under all sections of the policy for the costs of employees attending court as witnesses or defendants.

DAS has also increased the level of indemnity to 250,000 per incident and is setting up a national network of solicitors to whom policy-holders may make claims directly. A network of engineers will provide policy-holders with technical advice or reports to solicitors and claimants.

All clients of DAS will be able to take advantage of a free advisory service, established to help clients decide whether to proceed with claims before they have reached the notification stage.

Further cover is also offered to hauliers operating overseas; full details from DAS, on 0272 290321.
