PRINCESS AT RNA AND FFA ANNUAL DINNERS • Princess Anne will be guest of honour at the Road Haulage Association's annual dinner on May 12.

• The Princess will also attend the Freight Transport Association's annual dinner, at the London Hilton on April 27. FTA director-general Garry Turvey says: The industry is looking forward very much to welcoming the princess."

SOFIWARE CONFERENCE • The 1987 Warehouse and Distribution Software Conference will take place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on January 27 and 28.

Speakers will include Bob Bayley, a senior member of the Birds Eye Walls distribution team, who will be talking about the use of on-board computer terminals in distribution; Dave Bentley, UK General Manager of ORES, talking about optimum fleet sizes and mixes; and Andy Cameron, director of Synergy, who will talk about his company's Ranger and Locator products.

TORQUAY'S COACHES • This year's Torquay Hotels Association workshop for coach operators/organisers is scheduled for April 10-12. It will be the first exhibition to be held in the .215 million English Riviera Centre.

ALL CHANGE • On March 28 the Chartered Institute of Transport will host a seminar of the effects of bus deregulation.

All Change on the Buses will take place in the Nuffield Theatre Complex, Southampton University and will cost ,E1.50 (by prior booking only) including refreshments.
