be retiring later this year and in that light the company has made two senior appointments.
Brian Ferguson has been appointed vice-president of Dana Europe. He has worked for Dana for 25 years; in his new role he will assume responsibility for all Dana's operations in the UK, but retains his present position as divisional general manager of the automotive division, including the Spicer manufac
turing divisions which produce equipment such as transmissions, clutches, power takeoffs and drive shafts for commercial and mobile off-highway vehicles.
Dana has also promoted Ron Temple to vice-president and general manager of the Spicer Transmission, Spicer Clutch and Chelsea Power Products Divisions. He will report directly to Ferguson. Temple joined Dana from Brown Brothers when it was purchased by Dana in 1981.
