on a seven-vehicle licence granted to D A Smith of Langold, by Eastern Licensing Authority John Mervyn-Pugh.
The company applied for a new national licence with an operating centre in Grosvenor Road, Langold, in substitution for a similar licence held by David Smith. There were, however, representations from four local residents, two of whom attended the public enquiry. They claimed that access to their properties was being impeded by the parking of vehicles in Grosvenor Road.
Mervyn-Pugh said the application was for a change of entity and as there was no material change his powers were limited.
