Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Grau Girling has added an air dryer to its range of air brake components which is claimed to be suitable for retro-fitment to all types of airbraked light and heavyweight commercial vehicles.

The dryer induces condensation in the hot moist air delivered from the compressor before filtering contaminants and passing it through a dessicant drying unit into the brake system via a one-way check valve.

Once the cycle is complete the dryer expels the accumulated contaminants into the atmosphere.

An aluminium housing and inner shell, contributes to its light construction. It can be fitted at any angle which is within seven degrees of the horizontal. It may be interchanged with other types of dryer and is covered by a three-year or 483,000km guarantee.

Grau supplies 24or 12-volt twin-connection thermostatically controlled elements to suit different-sized vehicles.
