AS PART of its streamlining programme, Roadline's western and southern regions have joined with the London region to form a new southern region, based at City Road, London.
About 50 jobs will be lost at the western depot in Cardiff and a further 50 will go at the southern depot in Bournemouth. While some relocation is possible, it is inevitable that some jobs will be lost completely.
A spokesman for the company admitted that there would be cash savings, but stressed that job losses were to be kept to a minimum. It is understood that the premises at Bournemouth and Cardiff are to be disposed of later this month.
