DISCUSSIONS on the proposed withdrawal of the Belfast/Heysham vehicle ferry service operated by British Rail have been held between Fred Mulley, Minister for Transport, J. D. Concannon, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Office, and the Rev Ian Paisley (Antrim) and William Ross (Londonderry) of the United Ulster Unionist Coalition.
