Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The electrostatic spraying of nylon powder is achieved by the Model 3002 unit, produced by Controsion Ltd., with a system providing reversible polarity and voltage control. The voltage range is from 30kV to 150kV.

Small and portable, the unit can be plugged into a 13or 16amp socket and is fitted with a. powder delivery system. Therefore no air compressor is required and an immediate change can be made from one product or colour to another product or colour.

The continuous stirring of powders ensures that no clogging can take place and that the coating material flows evenly at the pre-selected speed. The generator is fitted with sockets for the simultaneous operation of two guns and a second powder delivery unit is also available. It is claimed that reversible polarity and voltage control ensures faultless spraying of nylon powder and enables an operator to coat cold substrates electrostatically regardless of their shape. This reduces heating costs and allows larger objects to be sprayed.

The unit can also be used for applying many other types of plastics powder in the epoxy, acrylics, cellulose acetate butyrate. polythene and chlorinated polyether categories to a preselected thickness of coating Other powders that can be applied by the machine include sugar, talc, insecticides, vitreous enamels and so on.
