Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The range of choice for British coach operators is to be widened by the introduction to the UK of luxury touring coaches with bodies by Van Hoot, of Belgium, but with Britishbuilt chassis to avoid service and spares problems.

The introduction is being made by Alf Moseley and Sons, of Loughborough. who have already brought Gaetano coach bodies into Britain. The Van Hod l coaches will initially be available on Bedford chassis, though other makes may follow. The prototype is a 53-seater on a Val, but a 45-seat VAM will be the -standard" model.

Details and pictures of the coaches appear in the Brussels Show report on pages 38-42 of this issue.
