WFEN Munro's Road Transport Co., MI ounthooly, applied, at Aberdeen, for licences to COVel' an increase of 6 tons in unladen weight caused by a change-over from petrol to oil-engined vehicles, Mr. A. Robertson, Scottish Deputy Licensing Authority, said it was desirable to encourage the conversion and he accordingly granted the application.
Mr. W. D. Munro said that the ektra tonnage was not required for carrying purposes, but to improve the quality of the fleet.
Munro's Transport (Aberdeen), I.td , New Garage, TurriL was also authorized to increase its tonnage by 10 for the purpose of replacing six petroldriven vehicles by oilers.
