Dull marks to the Automobile Association for making every effort to ensure that the information in its AA Trucker's Atlas of Britain is as up to date as possible. The Atlas highlights 150 low bridges to avoid
Unfortunately, some of the information is so up to date that one of the roads marked has not yet been built.
The A14, a dualcarriageway set to link East Anglia with the Al, M1 and M6, is still at the building-site stage between Kettering and the Ml.
It seems the AA believed the DOT when it told them a year ago that the A14 extension would open in 1993. Latest word from Marsham Street is that the extension will open this summer Until then we can expect a few more lost souls and late deliveries
