There are two versions of this seal. Type 106 is a seal for applications which include fuel-oil, hydraulic and other positive-displacement pumps, and small centrifugal water pumps. Type 106A is a press-in version and was designed to provide a low-priced high-efficiency seal for car water pumps.

Type 106 is suitable for shaft diameters of 4in., in., 4 in., 1 in. and type 106A

for diameters of ;; in., + in., in. and I in. Both sealsare designed for pressures up to 75 p.s.i. and temperatures up to 212° F. (100° C.).
