HAULIERS have been given chance to take advantage of Government's new regional policy.
Trade and Industry Secre Norman Tebbitt's annour ment that regional aid is to extended to service indust gives the industry the oppo nity to be included in the ra of service industries eligible development grants a selective systems.

To ensure that the cost of new policy does not reach existing £35,000 per job avera a cost-per-job ceiling is to be posed.
To be eligible, projects • either have to involve mode sation, expansion of exist capacity, or the introduction new projects or processes.
