People who joined the industry after December 31, 1974, but before January 1, 1978, will be allowed until January 1, 1980, to obtain the necessary proof of professional competence. The main representative bodies have been invited to comment on the new plans by January 10, 1977. Subject to these comments, regulations will be laid down in the New Year and will come into force from January 1, 1978.
