A new vehicle to carry 10-12 workmen over rough, unmade ground, and to supply power for driving drills, winches, generators and fire-fighting equipment, has just been produced by Guy Motors, Ltd., Wolverhampton. It can also be readily adapted to agricultural purposes.

It is self-contained and is based upon the design of the. many similar machines supplied during recent years to the War Department.

• The plant incorporates a compressor, driven from the gearbox by a power take-off and capable of handling the full engine output of 58 b.h,p. It is

a two-stage air-cooled unit working at a pressure of 80-100 lb. per sq. in. Special provision has been made for cooling the engine and a governor automatically closes the throttle when the required pressure is obtained and opens it when the pressure falls below 70 lb. per sq. in.

The first trolleybuses to be operated in Denmark have been supplied by the Associated Equipment Cu., Ltd., Southall. -Purchased by the Odense Tramways, six A.E.C.-English Electric chassis were, a few days ago, shipped to a Danish firm of bodybuilders. The chassis incorporates a dropped front end to permit the mounting of a frontentrance body, which will be of the single-deck type and seat 26 people, as well as 15 standing passengers; the

design embodies a central exit. An English Electric 65 h.p. motor is fitted and the equipment includes an air reservoir for door-operating mechanism.
