BRIGHTON Corporation's Bill to confirm an agreement between the municipality and Brighton, Hove and District Omnibus Co., Ltd., for the co-ordination of local transport services, was approved at a town's meeting last week. The Bill also seeks to empower the corporation and the company 'to run trolleybuses, and to authorize the municipality to abandon its tramways.
£100,000 GARAGE TO MAKE BIG SAVINGS.
IT is expected that, by building a
new bus garage at Wythenshawe, at a cost of £100,000, Manchester Corporation will reduce bus mileage by 292,000 a year, and working expenses by more than £9,000,
