Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

There's nothing like coming out tops to put a smile on a chap's face. Jim Woods (left) and David Satter (right) fought off stiff competition to become, respectively, TDG's Driver of the Year and Fork Lift Operator of the Year. This national contest is aimed at increasing safety at work.

David Garman (ever wondered what happened to Bamber Gascoigne?), TDG's chief executive, is pictured presenting the lads with their trophies and a cheque for £1,000 each.

Jim is based at TDG's Washford site in Redditch, Worcestershire, and has worked for the company for four years. He had to demonstrate his reversing and parking skills, vehicle checking knowledge and complete a written test on road safety.

David has worked for TDG for eight years and is based in Cardiff. He had to prove his skills in handling goods in a confined space, stacking, safety awareness and use of the correct operating procedures. Congrats to both winners!

• Meanwhile the Spies Hecker UK Lorry Driver of the Year Award is nearing its conclusion after 11 regional heats which have been held since May. The finals will be at the South Carney army base near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, on 2-3 September when 250 drivers will pit their skills and wits in practical and written tests. This is the 47th year of the competition, which aims to raise standards of safety and the status of the professional driver.
