Current European Chammship leader Rod Chapman w off the competition from e restarted "A" final this !ek in the second Truckeed competition at Lydden The first race was redgged when Les Allen in his tnt Commercials Ford Louise clashed with Andy Young's ania 143 and was rammed o the tyre wall.
Chapman, driving his Uni royal Volvo N10, took the lead from Andrew Levett in his RB Racing Scania 143 from the start. Levett pulled out all the stops to get past the nimble Volvo, closing up on the straights but unable to squeeze past on the corners. Behind them George Allen, brother of Les, used his Volvo White Road Boss to advantage to fend off Andy Young to take third place.
