Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE RESPONSE to our appeal for drivers and mechanics to serve for six months in the Sudan on behalf of the Save the Children Fund has been overwhelming.

The Save the Children Fund's overseas department is now vetting over 800 applications, so for the time being we do not need any more volunteers.

Now we need to fit Out tWo workshops to maintain the vehicles, and are looking for: • One three-phase 50 kVA, and two three-phase 15 kVA generators • Two complete sets of service tools for: Leyland Land trains, Landmaster, Clydesdales and Landovers (109 and

110); Beford MKs; and an lvec.o 330.-26N (8210.02 engine).

If you can provide any of these contact lam Sherriff, at Room 508, Quadrant House, The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey SM2 3AS.

• The general manager of Roadline UK's Manchester branch, Robert Mace, has been seconded by the National Freight Consortium to help the Save the Children Fund's famine relief work in the SU dall:

Over 60 NEC managers volunteered for the job, which lasts for at least six months.

Mr Mace continues to be paid by NEC.
