THE FORESTRY Commission has specified Windfoil's new grp cab-roof extension to give all-weather protection for its drivers.
A 690mm by 508mm section has been removed from the original cab top so that the driver rests facing rearwards on a suspended webbing scat. Hydraulic controls
are mounted On the rear of the original roof.
Sliding side windows provide ventilation, and a cab heater provides winter warmth. The full-length rear window has a windscreen wiper fitted.
The 1:800 cab extension adds 27kg (60 lb) to the weight.
