DURING 'THE WEEK this summer when 70mph winds caused chaos at sea, we tested a Seddon Atkinson 400-Series fitted with a turbocharged Cummins 250 engine over the Scottish test route. Despite such poor weather the Seddon performed well. We confirmed Cummins' claim of a 10 per cent improvement in fuel consumption over the naturally aspirated 250. The full road test report will appear in the October 5 issue of CM.
