Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LIQUID cleaner developed by The In• Walpamur Co., Ltd., is now generally available to the trade. The product, Walpamur Cleaning and Degreasing Liquid GWD.346, is claimed to remove grease and grime from extremely dirty surfaces and is said to be particularly effective for treating concrete, stone and wood surfaces. It can also be used for degreasing machinery and tools.

The liquid is supplied ready for use. It is sprayed or brushed on to the surface to be cleaned• and allowed to remain for at least five minutes. It is then hosed down and the dirt and grime, in suspension, are carried away. No scouring or scrubbing is necessary.

When used to clean small components, application of the liquid by a dippingtank is recommended. Walpamur Cleaning and Degreasing Liquid is clainted to be non-corrosive, non-toxic and causticfree, and is harmless to the skin and clothing.

The material is packed in one-gallon tins only, and costs £1 2s. per gallon trade. A leaflet on the Cleaning and Degreasing Liquid is available through any Walpamur depot or branch.
