Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AAUTOMATIC spot-welding equipment with consumable wire and gas shielding has been introduced by Rowen-Are, Blackhorse Road, Longford, Coventry, the welding division of Rubery, Owen and Co., Ltd. The method employed is one used extensively in American industry particularly for automobile bodybuilding and enables spot welding to be successfully achieved with access to one side of the metal only.

Known as the SA-33C series, the equipment includes a heavy-duty, metal-clad welding gun, fully water cooled and easily manceuvred. The welding gun is supplied complete with cable and hose for gas, water and power, and incorporates also a flexible conduit for guiding the wire. Spare nozzles can be fitted to suit the type of weld required, either spot, plug or fillet tack.

Wire supply, wire drive unit and control box can be mounted as a complete unit in pendant fashion on a monorail to provide mobility for line welding procedures, but they. can be incorporated in the electronic control cabinet which is the main part of the equipment. This houses a circuit panel which controls the speed of the wire drive and has a sequence panel which controls the sequeney of the welding process.
