Motor Show by Armstrong patents Co., Ltd., of Yorkshire, Will be Selectraulic electrically adjuStable shock absorbers. Specially designed for commercial vehicles, these are a development of the Selectaride system used on private vehicles.
Selectraulic are available as lever or telescopic dampers and the degree -of damping is instantly variable from a switch located on the dashboard or at some other point convenient to the driver's hand.
The damping of the vehicle may. therefore, be instantly adjusted to cover variations in road conditions, speed and load carried.
CUMMINS AT THE SHOW E'OUR automotive engines which have
been introduced into the Cummins range since the last Commercial Motor Show in 1960, will be displayed in this year's show by the Cummins Engine Co., Ltd.. of Shotts, Lanarkshire. Two exceptionally light and compact -units, the 588-cu.-in, naturally aspirated 200 h.p. V-6 and the 785-cu.-in. 265 h.p. V-8, will be on display for the first time in the T.J.K.
