VUEEKLY output of commercial VT vehicles in May (8,345) showed little change on the weekly production average during the first four months of this year. Average weekly production in May, 1962, however, was approximately 13 per cent. lower than the corresponding average for the first half of 1961.
Commercial vehicle exports in May (14,249, value £11,107,751) were at a higher level than in May. 1961 (13,212, value £9,965,047). Total exports for the first five months of 1961 (£59,819,334). however, were greater in value than exports during the first five months of the present year (£55.081.271).
