Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A.T.A., the.title of which stands for "Admission TemporaireTemporary Admission," and the agreement under which it will be introduced was worked out on a suggestion by the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris. by the Brussels Customs Council in co-operation with U.N.E.S.C.O. in Paris, and G.A.T.T. (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade). Geneva. The document is issued primarily as accompaniment for the import of goods to be used temporarily in another country in the carrying out of a job or profession, e.g. radio, film and television equipment, assembly equipment, measuring and research equipment and the like, but will also cover goods for show at exhibitions. The A.T.A. carnet is similar to the E.C.S. carnet already in use in most of Western Europe and Africa and, like the E.C.S. document has a validity of one year. The latter, however, covered " samples " only. Although this term covered exhibition items, these were not allowed to be in working order; the A.T.A. document permits working exhibition items so long as these do not undertake any processing.

Leave Vehicle Gaps

DRIVERS of commercial vehicles have been asked by the Traders Road Transport Association not to travel too closely together; the Association's national secretary, Mr. H. R. Featherstone, says that complaints have been received, some from member firms, of two or more vehicles travelling one behind the other on the open road without, the necessary gap to permit faster vehicles to overtake. "Nothing is more calculated to damage the reputation of the professional driver and to cause more annoyance to other road users," he says.
