A Yorkshire-based haulier put in the winning bid of £57,000 to snap up the MAN TopBid TGA 18.480 on the final day of this year's CV Show.

The eBay-style auction closed with Paul Clayton, managing director of PM Clayton Transport, Bradford, having put in the highest bid.

It has been fitted with a top-light bar to go with the air-con and twin bunks. Clayton will upgrade one of his drivers and the truck will go on to domestic long-distance work. •
