Anyway, we have here a press release from Chipping Norton-based Cherwell Logistics which Is looking to promote the sport this year, mainly because one of its directors, Stuart Horne, is also vice chairman of the British Truck Racing Association. This year's calendar sees racing at Thruxton on the 2829 June; the Nurburgring in Germany on 19-20 July; Zolder In Belgium on 13-14 September; Pembrey, Wales on 25-26 October and lastly at Donnington on 11-12 November. So if anyone fancies It, then tootle along to one of these venues.

We have a request this week from Dave Monahan, an employee at the RHA's IT arm Road Tech. His nephew Joshua suffers from cerebral palsy, and every year Dave and others raise funds in order to send Joshua for Dolphin Human Therapy (DHT) and also to pay for various other treatments. DHT costs around £12,000 per year, including the flights and accommodation, and in order to raise cash this year Dave is asking for your help.

All you need to do is send him your empty ink and toner cartridges from your printers and fax machines, and any deceased mobile phones you have knocking around.

These then go the charity recychngappeal.com, which turns them into cash for Dave's charity fund. So when your printer's toner cartridge is empty, instead of binning it, put it in the post to Dave Monahan, Road Tech Computer Systems, Shenley Hall, Rectory Lane, Shenley, Herts WD7 9AN.
