• Overview Mapping has launched an automatic location service that uses mobile phone signals from any of the UK's network operators. The location of a phone can be pinpointed through the firm's new Verilocation service via a simple website displaying street-level maps. The system is claimed to be lower cost than GPS-based alternatives, and is accurate to within 100m.
