Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOLLOWING the introduction of their City-Van semi-trailer into the British market two weeks ago, the York Trailer Co. Ltd. this week announce a steel van body based on the City-Van design for mounting on rigid chassis, this having been named the Truck-Van and being available built-up or in semi-knockeddown form. An example of the TruckVan on a Bedford Kin 5-ton chassis was displayed at Shaw and Kilburn's commercial-vehicle display in Luton on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Truck-Van has the same body specification as the City-Van except that the body cross-bearers are at 18-in. instead of 12-in, centres, and are mounted on pressed-steel longitudinal runners. The roof is a single sheet of aluminium, whilst the sides are of 20 s.w.g. galvanized sheet steel with integral pillars. Flooring is of 1-in, hardwood, and the standard rear closure is a Dover aluminium shutter, with the option of full-height aluminium doors: Dover shutters can be fitted in either side of the body also.

The basic Truck-Van is I2-ft. long and 7-ft. 6-in, wide, with an interior height of 6 ft., and this costs £422. Lengths of up to 28 ft. can be supplied, whilst interior heights of up to 9 ft. are available. Each extra foot of length adds £14 to the basic price, whilst height increases are at the rate of £2 per foot of body length. A width of 7 ft. can be provided without price change. Weight is at the rate of 95 lb. per foot of length, so the standard 12-ft. body weighs 1,140 lb. Bodies will be installed on chassis at York's depots (Corby and Glasgow) and by Chassis Developments Ltd. of Luton.
