Dcansgatu luxury mini-coach introduced in 1963 Or he Commercial Motor, August 23, 1963) the Williams Motor Co.. (Sales) Ltd., 325 Deansgate_ Manchester. has now brought out a 12-seater conversion of the Commer 1500 15-cwt. van.
Named the Comfier Deansgate PSV. the new vehicle is based on a standard Commer shell which is modified in the works of Williams Motor Co. (Manchester) Ltd. The roof of the body is raised, and fitted with a Weathershields three-way opening ventilator, and an access door is fitted to the nearside and equipped with a folding step. A steel and plywood floor is provided. trimmed with lino, and 12 passenger seats, which can be upholstered in leather or moquette. are fitted, and the interior of the vehicle is fully lined.
Standard equipment of the new psv includes a Motorola twin-speaker radio. Basic price of the petrol-engined version. including painting and signwriting to customer's requirements, is £1,150. whilst the diesel-engined version costs an extra .0 I 15.
