Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE new 12m. end-loading terminals at Wool

wich Free Ferry were opened on Tuesday by Mr. Rex M. Whitton, Federal Highway Administrator of the United States Department of Commerce.

The total effective length of the five vehicle lanes on the traffic deck of each of the three ferries in use is 560 ft. But before completion of the new terminals access for vehicles was provided by two sliding doors on each side of the ships matching the access bridges on the old pontoons. This limited efficiency in deck space and loading and unloading.

In use now with the new link spans are 14 ft. clear-width access gates at each end of the ships' traffic decks. This enables the ferry service to work at maximum possible traffic capacity and simplifies loading and unloading.
