neering firm, British Twin Discs Ltd., of Knight Road, Strood, may win it export orders for lorry axles worth about Lim. a year. For within three weeks of hearing that a Canadian firm urgently needed axles for timber trucks, BTD this week air-freighted the first pair to Canada.

The Canadian firm specified 20,000 lb.-capacity rigid axles with a hub reduction of 20 to 1. And Mr, Rodney Hill, BTD managing director, told OMMERCIAL MOTOR that he expects that the Canadian company will place a firm order this eek for a regular supply of the axles from BTD.
