Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

InOUBTEDLY one of the most interting bus designs to be seen at Earls Court this month is the new Eastern Coach Works-bodied Bristol VR rear-engined double-decker. This vehicle has an overall length of 33 ft. 11 in. and is built semiintegrally with the chassis, employing standard ECW light-alloy framing. Two examples are to be seen, one for the Bristol Omnibus Co. Ltd. and the other for Central SMT Co. Ltd.

Seating capacity of the new buses is 80 and 35 of the seats are in the lower saloon. A full description of the chassis appeared in COMMERCIAL Moran, August 5 1966; illustrations of the Central SMT vehicle nearing completion at Lowestoft are repro duced on this page. F.K.M.
