Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALTHOUGH the makers of Leyland and Dennis vehicles appeared in the list of exhibitors at the all-British Exhibition to be held in Copenhagen from September 29-October 16, The Commercial Motor understands that these makes of vehicle will not be represented. This means that there will be no heavy commercial vehicles to be shown.

Included in the Trojan exhibit of three models will be an oil-engined large-capacity van specially designed for the export market. The other two machines will comprise an oil-engined long-wheelbase chassis and an oilengined pick-up. These models are powered by the -Perkins P3V unit. A Trojan personnel yiagon will be available for demonstration during the Exhibition.

An Austin A30 5-cwt. van will form the only commercial vehicle exhibit of the Austin Motor Co., Ltd. Based on the A30 private car, it has an overheadvalve engine, steering-eolumn gear change and independent coil-spring front suspension.

Representative types of Dodge vehicle will be shown by Skandinavisk, Motor Co., AtS., Dodge distributors in Denmark. This -concern will also be showing a Land-Rover chassis and a• complete version of the 7-ft. 2-in.wheelbase model.

The distributors for Rootes, Ltd., will probably show a Hillman Husky, a Karrier Bantam or Gamecock and a Commer Superpoise 3-tonner or 7-tonner.

Representative types of Bedford, Thames and Standard vehicles will be displayed by distributors of the respective makers.

Scandinavian Steel and Shipping Agency will exhibit a Rapier 5 super mobile crane. Built for loads up to 5 tons. this crane has either an oil or petrol engine, which drives a generator to provide current for traction and all crane movements.

A second exhibit on this stand will he an F.L.30 Ransomes fork-lift truck. Designed for 3,000-1b. loads, this truck

is battery-operated. Its hoisting speed is 22 ft. per Minute with a full load and the travelling speed is 5i m.p.h.

Chaseside Engineering Co., Ltd., will show two of their latest models in their hydraulic loading-shovel range—the Loadmaster 500 and the Loadmastcr 600. Both machines are powered by oil engines and have an output of over 100 tons of bulk material per hour. The major difference between the two models is that the 500 has rear-wheel drive and the 600 has front-wheel drive with rear-wheel steering.
