For the year 'ended March 31st 1932, the total working expenses of the Salford tramways amounted to £326,522, as compared with 1358,789 in the previous year, the income being 1357,616 against /383,973. The balance carried to the credit of the profit and loss account is, therefore, £31,094, compared with 125,184.
