Transport refrigeration specialist Hubbard is providing a 480 condensing unit with standby for a boxbodied transit van used by the London-based charity Crisis FareShare. The charity redistributes fresh food donated by hotels, caterers and restaurants. Project manager Sarah Christie says: "We distribute more than four tonnes of fresh food to our day centres each month, which means we need absolutely guaranteed refrig. eration in our vans to comply with strict food hygiene regulations." Hubbard is doing a vital job, then, in ensuring that the cupboard of the homeless is kept fresh as well as full.
