Its model 350 is an on-thevehicle unit capable of handling wheels from 7.00 x 141n to 20.5 x 12in and accurate to 10gms.

In operation, it detects the degree of imbalance by means of a vibration sensor, fitted between the axle stand and the axle.

New to the market and showing at the NEC is the model 572 computerised wheel balancer. Its features include measurement of balance of both rims in a single operation.

A digital indicator gives clear and accurate weight position readings.

Also making its debut is the FMC 4000 computerised wheel aligner which has full fourwheel-alignment capability with automatic run-out compensation.

Other features include rear individual camber, toe meter displays, electronic rear-light systems and rearwheel-toe memory.

Aimed at the low volume user who wishes to paint and force dry in one operation, the new Sprayport, which is 7.3m (24ft) long, 4.27m (141t) wide and has an internal clear height of 2.36m (7ft 9in), will suit most light commercial vehicles and cars.

Pull arms can be attached at points around the base, and by using the vector principle, accurate correction can be achieved.

Blackhawk's Mangusta Dozer is a completely independent push-pull system that can deliver up to 10 tonnes force within 360 degrees. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with Blackhawk or other bench systems.

Its Mitek repair equipment is especially suitable where the working area is restricted. The Mitek uses the vector principle to pull in any direction at heights of up to 2.4m (8ft).
