• Seadyke Freight Systems Ltd has opened a new factory at March, Cambs, for trailer production. The trailer division is in Marwick Road. The company's body division is in Seadyke Road. Wisbech St Mary.
• Pickford's Heavy Haulage Ltd is reorganizing and modernizing its depot in Wharfway. Glen Parva, Leicester, where the company has been operating for 20 years. New workshops have been built and by the end of this year a new warehouse, 150ft long by 60ft wide, should be in use. There are about 45 employees at this depot.
