• The exemption of haulage companies of

Tebesy more than five people from the activities of the RTITB would be a disaster, Mr Eric Tindall, director-general of the Board, told members of the North Notts Haulage Group Training Association after he had officially inaugurated the group on Tuesday. There might be a case, he said, for exempting companies having up to five members.
Mr L. V. Williamson, regional manager of the Board, said that the accent should be on management training.
There are 28 members of the new group, the chairman of which is Mr F. W. L. Ellis.
Vehicles being currently used are a Dodge 22-ton-gross rigid and a Bedford /York 36ft 24-ton-gross artic.
