AN application by Ely Transpor Ltd., for additional A licences we adjourned by the. South Wales Licen ing Authority last week because of if unavoidable absence of counsel.

Mrs. A. F. E. Vincent, Cardif unsuccessfully applied for an A lieenc for one vehicle and accused Britis Road Services, who objected, of tryir to run her out of business. She ha been carrying cement and asbestos fc many years until she recently lost. in licence, it was stated.

The Authority said •that no evidenc of need had been given, but B.R.S. ha shown that they had vehicles to d the work. Because R.R.S. provide similar evidence with regard to if applications of Mr. E. J. Williams, M H. G. Cryer and Messrs. T. John an Sons, these were also refused.
