• Busways Travel Services has acquired the business of the Tyne and Wear Omnibus Company. The move comes a year after Busways was bought-out in an Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Eric Hutchinson, Busways chairman and managing director, says the Tyne and Wear acquisition will improve bus services in central Newcastle and Sunderland.
