• The John Dee Group has closed down its year-old subsidiary Eurofreight, based in Dover and Ramsgate. "The anticipated growth levels in Eurofreight's accompanied and unaccompanied se' vices from the South East ha\ not materialised, and the quali ty standards required by the Dee organisation have been d ficult to maintain," says the company. Continental business has been transferred to John Dee European headquarters in Ferryhill, County Durham anc the 18 members of staff affected by the closure have been offered alternative work within the group.
