• Hadleigh Industries subsidiary Al International has acquired curtainsider manufacturer Kurtrans Developments for £370,000.
The move strengthens the group, which also contains Cooks Transport Engineering's TIR tilt designs and Al's own specialist builder/finisher skills.
With total annual sales currently running at £10 million, the groups intends to develop the Kurtrans range and to expand into Europe with it.
