Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE YORK Trailer group, a subsidiary of United Parcels since August, has as its main exhibit a Freepost, 12.2m, postless, curtainsided, tri-axle semitrailer. This is built to the specification of Aberdeen haulier Charles Alexander and Partners, which will be taking delivery of the semi-trailer on display once the show has ended.

The Freepost design employs a fabricated Y-section central roof spine which is "hogged" (bowed upwards) to support the roof panel. The spine may be of aluminium or steel. Front and rear bulkheads are steel, the front one being braced back to the leading edge of the main chassis rails.

The Charles Alexander trailer has double rear doors, and the roof spine and panel, made of 19 SWG aluminium, have been tapered up towards the rear to give extra height for fork lift loading. With its side curtains open this Freepost gives a 12.2m clear side loading width and a 2.44m side aperture loading height. York's staff at the show will be emphasising the group's strength in applications engineering. Jobs they tackle include fifth wheel installation, truck and trailer conversions, designing and building special one-off or short production run trailers, and refurbishing, uprating and reframing trailers.

A new service being offered by York is called Transplan. This is a trailer contract maintenance package designed to allow operators to plan accurately their trailer maintenance costs.
