RATCL1FF Tail Lifts claims to be the world's leading manufacturer of lifts for all types of vehicle from light vans CO 12in refrigerated trailers. Its 500kg capacity truck lift is featured as an operational display and is typical of its recently launched 300 series.
In addition to the full range of lightweights and cost-effective lifts for small vans and trucks. Ratcliff is displaying its quiet kit, designed either for retrospective fitting (Sr supplied as an option.
Throughout the period of the show there is a full display of the company's products 360m away at the premises of Ratcliff's Glasgow agent JS Tail lifts.
RENAULT TRUCK INDUSTRIES
RENAULT TRUCK Industries' show line-up features the new flagship of British built G-range, the twin-steer G290. 22T1)
The G290, distinguishable from its stablemates by the new high-roof GT sleeper cab, is available in 4x2 and 6X2 configurations,
Renault fits both models with the turbocharged and charge cooled MIDR 06 062045 in-line six which delivers 214kW (289hp) at 2,100rptn and 1,176Nin (867 lbft) to EEC standards.
The show model has the B18 18-speed range-change and splitter gearbox which is also standard on the G260.
A Dodge Commando G16 rigid is also shown fitted with the 172kW (230hp) turbocharged Perkins TV8.540 and an Eaton Fuller RT6609 nine-speed range-change gearbox. It is plated for drawbar use at 32.52 tonnes GTW.
RTI has a Dodge 556 chassis cab on view plated at 5.6 tonnes GVW, powered by a 59kW Perkins 4.236 driving through a ZF live-speed synchromesh gearbox.
Completing RTI's line-up is the French-built Renault R310 Turboliner which has the turbocharged and charge cooled 225kW (302hp) M1DR 063340 engine and B18 splitter box.
Like the G290, it is plated for 38tonne GCW operations.
