LEYLANI) has added a Cummins LT10-290-powered model to its Roadtrain 6x2 range, 20.29, from early 1986.
The main differences between it and the 14-litre Cummins-powered 20.32 are in power and weight.
A typical sleeper cab 20.32 has a weight of 7,445kg. A comparable 20.29, with 30hp less power, has a kerb weight of only 6,829kg.
The weight reduction results from the fitting of the lighter 10-litre engine and the use of the premium, rather than the high datum, cab.
