LLY1.AND BUS has announced another 380 redund a n ci e s as a result of continued downturn in demand for buses and coaches in Britain.
Of the job losses, 40 go from the Eastern Coach Works double-deck body plant at Lowestoft, 97 from the automated Workington plant and 240 at Leyland in Lancashire.
In addition, 125 jobs go at the Spurrier engine plant which builds Leyland's 400 and TLII engines_
