A HEAVY-DUTY windscreen de-icer effective down to —20°C has been launched on the commercial market by Century Oils. Ice Breaker is WO per cent concentrated de-icer, which can he diluted by up to 73 per cent with tap water for use in windscreen washer reservcnrs.
The product is packaged in 500nil trigger spray cans and five-litre containers which can be used with remote trigger sprays. It is available through GKN Autoparts outlets.
Also available from Century is Snowdrift Universal Antifreeze, which is produced from ethylene glycol and 'contains no methanol. The product is
made to the latest B6380 specification, is ctrinpatible with all conventional cooling systems. and has recently won an Automobile Association Seal of Approval.
